What Exactly are SSAT’s?

The Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) is used mainly for admission into private junior high and high schools, boarding schools and military schools in the U.S. and also around the world. The SSAT and ISEE test are both used by most private and boarding schools as part of the admissions process.

The SSAT test takes 155 minutes to complete and consists of four multiple choice sections and a writing section. The tests include Mathematics and Reading Comprehension as well as Verbal. The writing section is not marked or scored by SSAT (Secondary School Admissions Test), or sent back to students but a copy is sent to the student’s schools.
